Esme completed her degree at the University of Birmingham, where she gained invaluable experience treating a range of patients in hospital, community and general practice settings. Since graduating, she has worked in multiple practices across the UK, fine-tuning her skills. Over the years, she has developed a strong interest in facial aesthetics, offering treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and skin rejuvenation. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in aesthetic and restorative dentistry, allowing her to provide a comprehensive service that blends facial aesthetics with restorative dental care.

Rippon qualified from Guy’s, King’s, and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London in 2003. She spent 10 years training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including five years as a Specialty Doctor at various South East hospitals, and she served as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer involved in undergraduate dental training.

She is currently pursuing a Diploma in Periodontology at the London Perio School under Dr Reena Wadia and has completed advanced periodontal training. She is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists and has worked in leading private practices, delivering evidence-based, patient-focused care. Beyond the clinic, Patrycja shares her passion for oral health through her professional blog and enjoys painting as a creative outlet.

Clinical Denture Technician

Sam’s passion for dentistry began at the age of five when his father opened a dental laboratory. With nearly 18 years’ experience as a dental technician and a decade running his own lab, he has a strong foundation in both technical and practical aspects of denture work. In 2021, he returned to university to qualify as a clinical dental technician, allowing him to combine hands-on patient care with technical precision. Since joining Thornbury Dental Wellness Centre, Sam has become a valued member of the team, known for creating natural, confident smiles. Outside work, he enjoys family time, cars, motorsport and football.

Practice Coordinator

Practice Coordinator Amber began her career in the spa industry, starting on the front-of-house team at a prestigious five-star spa and quickly advancing to management. Looking to use her skills to help others, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. With a deep passion for wellness, she has cultivated expertise in creating exceptional experiences for patients. A local of the Thornbury area, Amber is dedicated to promoting holistic health and well-being, with a special interest in reflexology and sound baths. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, always seeking balance and harmony in all aspects of her life.

With over 30 years of experience in reception and front-of-house roles, Rachel has a wealth of knowledge. Having worked in a variety of settings, including dental practice, hospitals, and doctors’ surgeries, she understands the importance of patient care. Her exceptional communication skills and warm demeanour help patients feel at ease from the moment they walk in. Rachel is the first face you'll see when you enter the clinic. A long-time resident of Thornbury, she has a strong connection to the local community and enjoys meeting new people.

Outside of work, she keeps active—having once been a Team GB gymnast—and stays busy with her three children and her beloved cat, Milo.

Originally from Yorkshire, Millie moved to Bristol over four years ago and quickly made it her home. With more than 10 years of experience in the dental industry, she is passionate about patient care and always brings warm, friendly energy to the clinic.

Outside of work, Millie enjoys staying active with workouts and yoga, keeping both her body and mind in balance.

Lily graduated with top distinction from one of Portugal’s leading dental schools and began her career in a hospital setting, gaining experience in complex restorative and surgical cases. She later joined a prestigious private practice, where she developed a passion for aesthetic dentistry and natural smile design. Winner of the 2025 Best Young Dentist Award, Lily is renowned for her lifelike composite bonding. She also teaches internationally with The Art of Dentistry, sharing her expertise in precision and artistry.

Dental Nurse

With 4 years' experience, Daisy has worked in the NHS and in some private dental practices. She has a keen interest in orthodontics and loves to make patients feel confident with their smiles. Getting to know patients is Daisy's favourite part of the job; she enjoys creating a safe space. In her free time, she enjoys going on long walks, baking, and going out with friends.

Dental Nurse

Chelsie is a dedicated Dental Nurse with six years of experience in the field. She began her journey in dentistry as an apprentice and qualified as a dental nurse in 2021. Chelsie finds the most fulfilment in providing comfort to patients and witnessing the positive impact that dental care has on their self-esteem.

Having worked at an NHS dental practice in Gloucestershire, Joni has since begun her dental nursing training. Expanding her knowledge every day, she strives to provide the best possible care for patients and to ensure quality and comfort.

Previously trained in the beauty industry, she is particularly inspired by cosmetic dentistry, and its remarkable results.

Outside of work, Joni loves listening to music, coffee dates with friends, and watching rugby.

Rosie has been working in dentistry for 18 months, gaining valuable experience and knowledge along the way. Before relocating to South Gloucestershire, she worked in Cheltenham, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care and dental procedures. Rosie is particularly passionate about surgical dentistry and looks forward to qualifying as a Dental Nurse in the near future. In her spare time, Rosie enjoys reading, spending quality time with friends and family, and helping out on the family farm, where she lives.
