Rippon qualified from the prestigious Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London in 2003. She had an interest in surgery and this led to her spending 10 years training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She spent 5 years as a Specialty Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in various hospitals in the South East including Royal London Hospital, where she was also an Honorary Clinical Lecturer and involved in undergraduate dental training. Rippon’s experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and her interest in jaw surgery led her to specialise in Orthodontics. She undertook Higher Specialist Postgraduate Training in Orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital and Worcestershire Royal Hospital. In her spare time, Rippon is kept busy with her young dog, enjoys exploring the Cotswolds with him, and will happily show you many adorable photos of him.
